For those of you living under a rock, Shraddha Kapoor is rumored to be dating her childhood best friend, Rohan Shrestha. The two of them have been spotted on date nights and other outings together and it’s all hush-hush. In an interview with a popular news agency, Rohan was asked about the nature of their relationship and he said that they share a beautiful friendship but nothing more.

Shraddha and Rohan have been friends for the past nine years and are quite close. They have been seen spending a lot of time together but when questioned if they are dating, both of them have denied it. Rumors that they are planning to get married have been around but in an interview, Shraddha completely shut it out. She said that marriage is the last thing on her mind right now and she has professional commitments at the moment. She said that the only thing on her mind right now is her work and the movies she is acting in and nothing apart from that needs attention. Shraddha added that it was all just a “buzz” and will fade away with time, just like every other rumor.

In an interview, Shraddha’s father Shakti Kapoor said that these rumors are a part and parcel of the film industry and no attention should be given to them. He said that the rumors about his daughter’s marriage are nothing but that— just rumors. He said that Rohan’s father, Rakesh and he are good friends and they all hang out together and there is nothing more than that. “Yeh film industry hai bhaiya, link karne se kuch nahi hota. His father, Rakesh is a dear friend of mine. We all are family friends. My daughter tells me everything that’s happening in her life. She will never marry without her parents’ consent”, he added shutting out the media.

Rohan Shrestha is a celebrity photographer whose photographs have made the cover of renowned magazines. He is of Nepali origin and his father is Rakesh Shrestha is also a prominent celebrity photographer. And as you know, Shraddha Kapoor an Indian actress and singer. She started her Bollywood career in 2010 in the movie Teen Patti after which she played the lead actress in the movie Love Ka The End in 2011. She hit stardom after the super hit romantic movie Aashiqui 2 in 2013 and has done several other movies since then. She is all set for her latest release— Remo D’ Souza’s Street Dance 3D, starring other famous actors like Varun Dhawan, Nora Fatehi, and Prabhudeva.

Even in the past, Shraddha has been linked to many actors. She was previously linked to Farhan Akhtar which turned out to be false. She was asked about it in an interview to which she replied with bluntness. She said that she cannot control what the media writes about her and so she chooses to ignore it. “What I can’t control, I ignore. Because there is no truth to it. And my focus is films. I don’t focus on rubbish stories that people write about me,” she added. She called out the media for acting irresponsibly by falsely linking her up with actors and she said she has learned to ignore it over time.
