Marriage is a union that proclaims your love for your partner in a way that celebrates you, your significant other and your family. Then what about engagement? It prepares you for a life together and ensures real commitment. It is the next step you take when you have been in a relationship long enough to know that you want to share the rest of your life with your partner. It happens when you know you’ve found the love of your life. But sometimes, is it enough to have found love?

Love and compatibility are all fairytales and rainbows but a life of commitment together requires compromises, sacrifices and clear understanding along with love. When two people are in love, it is a bed of roses but when marriage is on the line, a lot of things have to be considered for the simple fact that you’ll be sharing the rest of your life with this person. They got engaged in 2003 and were planning to get married that same year. For reasons unknown to us, the duo broke off the engagement and went their separate ways. Sajid went on to make super hit Bollywood movies like Main Hoon Na, Heyy Babyy, and Housefull later.

2. Shilpa Shinde and Romit Raj

Karan Singh Grover, a model and television actor, known for his role in Dill Mill Gayye and Qubool Hai, is currently married to the gorgeous Bipasha Basu. Long before this, he was dating Barkha Bisht who made her first appearance on television in Kitni Mast Hai Zindagi. The two of them met while working together for this show.
