Just yesterday we were talking about the bad influences that are on a rise because of social media sites. These sites like Twitter, Facebook, and Instagram, which were initially started to share love, inspiration, and everything nice about this world and one another has become a place to spread hate and hurt each other.

And yes, not to forget the onset of the troll community! People start talking offensively about others by either posting about them or by commenting on their target’s posts. And when it comes to brewing hate, the Indian world of tinsel stars, the Bollywood industry cannot be left behind, right? Ever since its birth, Bollywood has always contributed to the world of controversies as much as it has contributed to the world of cinemas.

The huge base of fan following and of course, the hardworking paparazzi are the ones who create and sometimes follow up on controversies regarding our Bollywood superstars. And recently Bollywood’s favorite item girl, Munni aka Malaika Arora Khan became a victim of yet another controversy, yet another troll. Let’s take a look at that.

What Did Malaika Arora Post On The Internet?

Malaika Arora needs no presentation at all! This 46-year-old Bollywood beauty always makes her way to the headline with some controversy or the other. And the fact that even after so many controversies that have been lingering around her, Malaika still remains to stay active on her social media profiles, especially on her Instagram account. Her boldness is quite commendable. Her Instagram feed is full of stunning pictures and videos of the actress along with her family, her workout life, her personal/ romantic life, her photoshoots, her travel, and of course her parties.

And recently she posted a beautiful picture of herself on her Instagram account. While some appreciated it, some ridiculed it, and some trolled it over. They did all of this looking at the makeup she’s worn!

We fell in love with her post as she was seen supporting a cause for the underprivileged kids by wearing a hand band. She even captioned it so beautifully by saying, “by wearing this band of inclusion, you commit to a world that has space for everyone in it. A world that is stronger for all.” We’re sure that Malaika Arora has no idea that a post she put up with such a noble thought in her heart would turn into a troll against her.

What Reaction Did Malaika’s Post Garner?

Within a few minutes of putting up her post, Malaika sure did receive a lot of love in terms of likes. But it was also accompanied by a lot of slack in the form of comments.

While some of her genuine fans left comments that read, “looking so gorgeous.” There were some other fans who left comments saying that she looks old with the makeup and that she looks younger and beautiful without any makeup on. These comments are okay to handle, right?

However, there were some very horrendous set of comments that read, “Is makeup on you or are you on makeup?” and one Instagram user also went on to comment, “Ranu Mondal” indicating that she’s begun to look like the overnight singing star Ranu Mondal who was also victimized for wearing too much of makeup on. Ranu, in fact, became a legit meme material as well.  We’re sure it must have been very overwhelming for Malaika to watch a noble Instagram post of hers turn into a post that has garnered mean and negative comments about her looks and her makeup knowledge.

But This Isn’t The First Time…

This isn’t the first time Malaika has become the victim of negativity or trolls on social media. Once, she’s posted a behind the scenes picture of one of her photoshoots. She got rolled by the netizens for it and they even started making comments about her underarm pits *rolling eyes*. However, the actress decided to be graceful and chose not to react to it.

When the world came to know that Malaika was dating the Gunday star, Arjun Kapoor, she was abused and criticized by social media for dating a man who was a decade or more younger than her. But the couple brushed away all the negativity thrown towards them.

When these stars choose the fame path as their life, they definitely are prepared for the unintentional and unwanted controversies that they might land on. However, as humans, we need to stop criticizing them on the basis of their looks, their skin color, their personal life, etc. As the audience, we can comment on their work the way we’d want to, but commenting on their makeup or personal relationships is a bad thing to do.
